Vandals attempted to damage the plumbing at the new City Hall building in Olympia on Friday, April 29th.
Two people entered Olympia City Hall carrying backpacks. They went into the bathrooms off the lobby area and then quickly left. Employees later found that cement had been poured into the toilets of both men’s and women’s bathrooms.
The River Ridge High School baseball team had their 6th break-in / vandalism since last fall, and twice over the past three weeks. Two weeks ago, thieves attempted to break into the concession stand, causing damage to the structure.
Over the past weekend they returned and did significant damage to the varsity field. They spray painted in the outfield, dug up home plate and the pitcher’s mound, dug holes throughout the infield, and spray painted the dugout.
