Just before 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13th, the Arbor Chevron  reported an armed robbery.  Two white males, 18 to 22 years, one wearing a red bandana entered the store armed with a lever action rifle. The clerk believes that the suspects were wearing gloves.  The suspects appeared to have knowledge of cash registers as they opened the registered and stole money.  The suspects then fled the store running south west, where it is believed they had parked a vehicle.

On July 15th at about 3:15 p.m., Olympia Police were dispatched to a report of an auto theft which turned out to be a carjacking. The victim reported that he had been in his green full size Chevrolet Blazer stopped at a red traffic signal on Phoenix Street waiting to proceed north through the intersection at Martin Way. Suddenly he was approached by a white male, about 5’06” tall, 190 pounds, wearing blue jeans and a grey t-shirt. The male opened the victim’s driver’s door, assaulted him, and pulled him from the vehicle. The suspect then fled the scene in the stolen vehicle.

The victim sustained serious injuries during the assault. Investigation revealed that the suspect took the stolen vehicle to the parking lot of a nearby business where he removed several tool boxes from it as well as the victim’s wallet which remained in the vehicle at the time of the robbery.

On July 9th, a scam artist approached a man in his driveway on Mercedes Drive in Lacey asking for help. The suspect said he had just arrived from Sri Lanka. He said he had inherited money and showed the victim a letter from an attorney in Tacoma. The suspect said he could not take all the money back to his country, but had to give some of it away. He told the victim that he had to prove he could be trusted by giving him cash and his Rolex watch until the suspect returned from the bank. The victim gave the suspect a large sum of cash and the suspect and his accomplice disappeared.

The victim believes he had been followed from the Home Depot on Marvin to his home. The suspect is a black male in his 30′s, 5-10 and 300 lbs, and his friend was a black male, 5-10, 180, in his 30′s.

March 25, 2009

On Tuesday, March 17th, close to 1:30 a.m., a robbery occurred at the Walgreen’s store at 1510 Black Lake Boulevard SW. A white male subject, 25 to 32 years old, 5-10, 155 lbs, went to the pharmacy and presented a note demanding Oxycontin. He wore black skater shoes with large white shoelaces, blue jeans, and a black hooded sweatshirt. The sweatshirt had gray lettering and logo on front with writing on the back.

July 16, 2008

On Sunday, July 13th, a robbery of a citizen occurred on I-5 near milepost 88.

The victim reports seeing a white male standing near an older blue 1980s sedan on the shoulder waving a red one gallon gas can.  The victim pulled over to give the suspect a ride.  The suspect then pulled out a .45 caliber handgun and demanded the victim’s wallet.  The suspect asked to be dropped off near the northbound rest area.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5-9, wearing a collared shirt over another shirt, jeans and tennis shoes.  He was possibly working with an accomplice.
