			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On May 13th, at 2:15 p.m., a robbery occurred in the park located in the 1400 block of Evergreen Park Drive SW. The victim was approached by three Hispanic males in their early twenties.  One suspect demanded the victim’s backpack, and when he refused, he struck the victim in the face. He was then stabbed multiple times in the back.</p>
<p>One suspect was described as 6-5”, over 300 lbs, wearing an orange check shirt.  The other two males were average height and weight.  The backpack is an Element brand, black with a bright green tree insignia.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On February 27th between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., a home invasion robbery occurred in the Clearwood area on Sylvan Dell.</p>
<p>The victim reported that a white male, medium height and build, wearing a ski mask with eye holes and dark hoodie, knocked on her front door.  When she answered, he assaulted her and tied her up with zip ties.  He then ransacked her home.  After the robbery, the suspect poured bleach on the victim to conceal any evidence.</p>
<p>The suspect later accessed her bank account in Graham.</p>

<p>The victim reported that he met the three male suspects at Capital Mall and they rode the bus to an area near the park.  Once in the park, the three males attacked the victim, stealing his wallet and iPod.</p>
<p>All three were white males.  One was 5-6, 180, with puffy, curly brown hair, wore a black DARE jacket and green shirt.  One was 5-11, 160, short brown hair, leather jacket and jeans.  The third was 5-4, 130, with brown hair, wearing a black leather jacket and boots.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On November 24th just after 11:00 a.m., Olympia Police responded to the parking lot of the Bank of America at 210 5th Ave SW in Olympia for a robbery.  Two women were confronted in the parking lot by a male who displayed a black handgun and demanded the bank deposit bag one was carrying.  The man then fled the scene and is believed to have entered a newer black station wagon, similar to a Dodge Magnum, with tinted windows.  The vehicle did not have license plates on the front or back.</p>
<p>The suspect is described as an African-American male, possibly in his early twenties to early thirties, about 5’8” to 6’, medium build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and white surgical mask.  The suspect vehicle had been parked in the Olympia Federal parking lot and was last seen traveling east on 4<sup>th</sup> Avenue.</p>

<p>The gun was possibly a black semi-automatic handgun.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On August 23, 2009, a robbery occurred in the 9200 block of 46<sup>th</sup> Avenue NE.  Two victims reported they met up with two males and one female in Pierce County to attend a party in the Olympia area.  After traveling to Lacey, the vehicle stopped and the two males each produced handguns and robbed the victims.</p>
<p>Two of the suspects have been apprehended in this case.  The third suspect was identified as David Mapu, 21 years old, 5-11, 250 lbs, Pacific Islander.  There is an active warrant for 1<sup>st</sup> Degree Robbery for Mapu.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On July 15th  at about 3:15 p.m., Olympia Police were dispatched to a report of an auto theft which turned out to be a carjacking. The victim reported that he had been in his green full size Chevrolet Blazer stopped at a red traffic signal on Phoenix Street waiting to proceed north through the intersection at Martin Way. Suddenly he was approached by a white male, about 5’06” tall, 190 pounds, wearing blue jeans and a grey t-shirt. The male opened the victim’s driver’s door, assaulted him, and pulled him from the vehicle. The suspect then fled the scene in the stolen vehicle. </p>
<p>The victim sustained serious injuries during the assault. Investigation revealed that the suspect took the stolen vehicle to the parking lot of a nearby business where he removed several tool boxes from it as well as the victim’s wallet which remained in the vehicle at the time of the robbery.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On July 9th, a scam artist approached a man in his driveway on Mercedes Drive in Lacey asking for help.  The suspect said he had just arrived from Sri Lanka.  He said he had inherited money and showed the victim a letter from an attorney in Tacoma.  The suspect said he could not take all the money back to his country, but had to give some of it away.  He told the victim that he had to prove he could be trusted by giving him cash and his Rolex watch until the suspect returned from the bank.  The victim gave the suspect a large sum of cash and the suspect and his accomplice disappeared.  </p>
<p>The victim believes he had been followed from the Home Depot on Marvin to his home.  The suspect is a black male in his 30&#8217;s, 5-10 and 300 lbs, and his friend was a black male, 5-10, 180, in his 30&#8217;s.</p>
