During the weekend of April 9th and 10th, the Thurston County Public Works reported that six vehicles were burglarized. The suspect broke out windows on the vehicles, which were parked in a lot on Evergreen Drive. One vehicle belonged to the State of Washington and the others were owned by Thurston County.

March 30, 2011

In the early morning hours of March 18th, the McDonald’s was burglarized at 715 Plum Street. The video surveillance camera shows a white male in his 20’s, approximately 5-10, 170, with short brown hair. He wore a red and white Portland Trailblazer jacket, khaki pants, striped button down shirt, black Chuck Taylor sneakers, and a black and white patterned ball cap.

March 16, 2011

In the early morning hours of February 4th, a burglary occurred at the Kirby vacuum store in the 2100 block of Harrison Avenue SW.

The thieves stole several gray Kirby Sentria vacuums, rug shampooers, zip brushes, a Panasonic 48-inch flat screen television, and a Toshiba laptop computer.

March 9, 2011

During the past month, there have been burglaries at Jason’s Greenhouse on Bald Hills Road SE, the Yelm Liquor Store, and the Puerto Vallarta Restaurant. In each case, the business safe was stolen by the suspects.

The business owners are offering an additional $1,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects involved.

February 23, 2011

On February 12th, the Capital Car Wash located in the 4700 block of Lacey Boulevard SE reported a burglary.

Sometime during the night, suspects broke into the business and using crow bars, broke open coin boxes to get the coins.

The property damage to the business exceeds $10,000.

February 9, 2011

On January 31st, two restaurants were burglarized in the 900 block of Sleater Kinney Road SE. Security video shows the suspect inside the Las Palmas Restaurant at approximately 6:45 a.m. He is a white male, 20 to 40 years old, wearing a light color rain type jacket with hood up to conceal his face. He is carrying a crow bar and small flashlight.

The suspect is believed to have also burglarized the Cancun Plaza Restaurant next to Las Palmas.

February 2, 2011

Between January 15th and 17th, there was a burglary at a garage owned by the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office in the 3400 block of Mottman Road SW.

The garage door was possibly rammed by a vehicle and was heavily damaged. There were also shoe marks on the door. Tire tracks in the area appear to have been made by a truck.

Damages to the building are estimated at over $3,000.

January 26, 2011

During the first week of January, suspects broke into a locked garage in the 3700 block of Ensign Road NE in Olympia. The thieves stole over $15,000 worth of karaoke equipment. This included JBL and Yamaha mixers, four black Pioneer laser players, four gray 15-inch JBL speakers, two black 15-inch JBL speakers, a mixing board, microphones, and a blue, black and red karaoke book.
