On February 27th between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., a home invasion robbery occurred in the Clearwood area on Sylvan Dell.

The victim reported that a white male, medium height and build, wearing a ski mask with eye holes and dark hoodie, knocked on her front door. When she answered, he assaulted her and tied her up with zip ties. He then ransacked her home. After the robbery, the suspect poured bleach on the victim to conceal any evidence.

The suspect later accessed her bank account in Graham.

February 10, 2010

Just after midnight on February 9th, a male victim exited a restaurant in the 500 block of Sleater Kinney Road SE to his car. Once he got into his car, he was confronted by three males with blue bandannas over their faces. They demanded that the victim open his car door. Once it was open, they began punching the victim in the face and making demands. The victim drove off, striking one suspect with the car door. The suspect then stabbed the victim’s leg twice with a four-inch blade.

The suspects were described as Hispanic males with accents. After the assault, they ran across Sleater Kinney to a fast food restaurant.

On November 21st at about 8:15 p.m., an assault and robbery occurred in the Rainier Vista Park.

The victim reported that he met the three male suspects at Capital Mall and they rode the bus to an area near the park.  Once in the park, the three males attacked the victim, stealing his wallet and iPod.

All three were white males.  One was 5-6, 180, with puffy, curly brown hair, wore a black DARE jacket and green shirt.  One was 5-11, 160, short brown hair, leather jacket and jeans.  The third was 5-4, 130, with brown hair, wearing a black leather jacket and boots.

July 29, 2009

On July 15th at about 3:15 p.m., Olympia Police were dispatched to a report of an auto theft which turned out to be a carjacking. The victim reported that he had been in his green full size Chevrolet Blazer stopped at a red traffic signal on Phoenix Street waiting to proceed north through the intersection at Martin Way. Suddenly he was approached by a white male, about 5’06” tall, 190 pounds, wearing blue jeans and a grey t-shirt. The male opened the victim’s driver’s door, assaulted him, and pulled him from the vehicle. The suspect then fled the scene in the stolen vehicle.

The victim sustained serious injuries during the assault. Investigation revealed that the suspect took the stolen vehicle to the parking lot of a nearby business where he removed several tool boxes from it as well as the victim’s wallet which remained in the vehicle at the time of the robbery.

March 4, 2009

On February 5th a twelve-year-old male was walking near 57th Avenue SE and Stockton Drive SE in Lacey.  A white van stopped and two men began chasing the victim, who managed to get away.

The van is white with “Flower” written on the side at an angle, and another word the victim could not recall.  One suspect was a white male and one was Hispanic.  Both wore Devil Ray ball caps.
