On Thursday, October 22nd, just after 7:00 p.m., shots were heard in the area of the 8600 block of Skokomish Way NE.

On investigation, bullet holes were found in a vehicle and in a residence, with a total of five .40 caliber shell casings, two bullets and bullets fragments located.  Two people were inside the residence at the time, but were not injured.

The incident is believed to be gang-related.

October 21, 2009

On October 9th, at about 1:45 a.m., there was a burglary at the Shop Fast Store, 2020 Black Lake Blvd SW.  The suspect broke out the glass in the front door to enter.  He then stole cartons of cigarettes valued at several hundred dollars.

The suspect is a white male wearing a gray and black ball cap with white emblem.  He wore a black Adidas-style jacket with 3 white stripes down the arm.  He wore an earring in his left ear and possibly also in his right ear.

October 14, 2009

Just before 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13th, the Arbor Chevron  reported an armed robbery.  Two white males, 18 to 22 years, one wearing a red bandana entered the store armed with a lever action rifle. The clerk believes that the suspects were wearing gloves.  The suspects appeared to have knowledge of cash registers as they opened the registered and stole money.  The suspects then fled the store running south west, where it is believed they had parked a vehicle.

October 7, 2009

Some time during the evening of October 5th and morning of October 6th, a first degree theft occurred at a construction site in the area of Willamette Drive NE and Orion Drive NE.

A trailer-mounted Ingersol Rand compressor was locked and secured to a bucket loader at the site, but was stolen during the night.  The trailer plate number is 7770-UC, and the compressor was beige in color, valued at $9,000.
