Since mid-August, there have been at least 12 business burglaries and four apartment burglaries in the Lacey Boulevard, Pacific Avenue area of Lacey. The same suspects are believed to be responsible for these burglaries.
The burglaries occur in the early morning hours, and often include outside shed type buildings and small espresso stands. The apartment burglaries often are the result of unlocked windows and doors.

On August 27th between 5:45 a.m. and 6:20 a.m., a lone white male in a small red 1990s truck with white canopy vandalized several vacuums at the Tumwater Auto Spa on Capitol Boulevard. The suspect caused over $500 in damage before stealing quarters from the machines.

The suspect is approximately 6-foot, 170 lbs, wearing jeans, t-shirt, and light colored ball cap. The red truck has a sticker in the lower left corner of the back window and has no hubcaps.

On Sunday, August 30th, and again on Sunday, September 6th, the Ricardo’s Restaurant in the 5200 block of Lacey Boulevard was burglarized some time between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.

In the first instance, the suspect broke a glass door, and in the second instance, the suspect broke a glass window.

On August 26th, a white male came to a residence in the county and told the woman inside that he had a court order to remove her children from the home. When the male could not produce any paperwork, she refused to comply and closed her door. The male left in a white mini van.

The male identified himself as Michael Jenkins and is described as mid to late 40’s, 5-6, with a full beard and glasses.
