During the late night hours of Friday, April 24th, and the early morning hours of Saturday, April 25th, unknown suspects vandalized approximately 20 vehicles in the residential neighborhoods off Pacific Avenue and Steilacoom Road, east of Lacey.

The vandals broke glass, mirrors and inflicted body damage to the affected vehicles.

Total damage estimates attributed to this crime spree exceed $12,000.

April 22, 2009

On Friday night, April 17th, an armed robbery occurred at the Lee’s Buffet in west Olympia, possibly by the same suspect who robbed a Lacey restaurant on April 7th.

The suspect entered the restaurant around 9:00 p.m. and displayed a handgun, demanding money. He wore a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and gloves. He is described at about 5-6.

April 15, 2009

On Tuesday, April 7th, at 9:45 p.m., an armed robbery occurred at the Super Buffet located at 1390 Galaxy Drive NE in Lacey.

The suspect entered at closing time and pointed a black semi automatic handgun at the employee and demanded money. He is described as an Asian male, late 20’s or 30’s, about 5-10, thin to medium build, wearing a grayish hoody and a dark cloth over his nose and mouth.

April 8, 2009

Tumwater Police are looking for the suspect in a burglary of the Washington State Employee Credit Union, which has a branch at the New Market Skills Center.

The burglary occurred on March 18th when the suspect broke out a window to gain entry. After rummaging through the offices, the suspect, wearing dark clothing, fled on a bicycle.

Olympia Police are seeking information about a series of late night incidents in the 900 block area of Lilly Road.

Police have received a number of calls about a prowler, as well as two burglaries recently in that area. A male has been reported as possibly targeting apartments where women live alone.
